Artists always have a tough time making ends meet financially, many have to constantly have a second, related string to their bows, as selling their work can be so difficult. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists around the world have found themselves without any of this work; teaching, technical support, gallery work, exhibitions and sales have all disappeared. In an attempt to help alleviate some of this stress @matthewburrowsstudio has instigated the #artistsupportpledge

The concept is a simple one. Artists post images of their work to sell for no more than £200 ($200, €200) each (not including postage).

ANYONE CAN THEN BUY THE WORK.

The pledge idea is simple, every time I reach £1000 of sales on pledge work I pledge to buy another artists work for £200. If you are interested in purchasing any of the pledge works from the gallery below please contact me through one of the following means:
